Educational Qualification

For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology)

• 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks
• 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology
• Minimum 50% marks in Class 12

For All Other Trades

• Matriculation (10th) with minimum 50% aggregate marks
• ITI/National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade
• Provisional NCVT/SCVT certificate accepted where applicable

Note: 50% marks in Matriculation are not applicable for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 15 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years
• Cut-off Date: Closing date of application (19-08-2026).

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC – 3 Years
• PwBD – 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen – Service rendered + 3 years (subject to notification conditions).

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection is based on:

1.      Merit prepared trade-wise, unit-wise and community-wise.

2.      Merit calculated from:

o    10th + ITI average marks.

o    For Medical Laboratory Technician trades: 10th + 12th PCB marks.

3.      Shortlisting for Document Verification.

4.      Original document verification.

5.      Medical Fitness Certificate.

6.      Final merit list.

Tie-breaking:

• Older candidate gets preference.
• If DOB is same, candidate passing Matric earlier gets preference.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

1.      Visit the official NFR website.

2.      Open Personnel → Act Apprentice Notification.

3.      Register online.

4.      Fill the application form carefully.

5.      Select preferred Unit–Department–Trade.

6.      Upload required documents.

7.      Submit the application.

8.      Keep a copy/print of the submitted application.

Only one application is allowed per candidate.

• Class 10 Marksheet
• Class 10 Pass Certificate
• ITI National Trade Certificate / Provisional Certificate
• Final ITI Marksheet
• For Medical Laboratory Technician:
• Class 12 Marksheet
• Class 12 Pass Certificate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

Original documents must be produced during Document Verification.

• False declaration of marks will result in disqualification.
• Number of apprenticeship slots may increase or decrease.
• Reservation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
• Original certificates are mandatory during Document Verification.
• Medical Fitness Certificate is compulsory after selection.
