Educational Qualification

A. Deputy Manager (Electrical)

• B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics

Experience:

Common Requirement for Candidates Working in Government / Public Sector Undertakings

Candidates currently working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings must:

1.      Have minimum 2 years of experience in the executive cadre, including training/trainee period, if any.

2.      Their pay scale should be E3 Grade or above of NTPC, i.e. Rs. 60000–180000 (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or equivalent.

3.      Provide a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their employer while applying.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 40 years for all posts.

Documents Required

8.      Disability certificate as per the latest prescribed Central Government format, generated online through the swavlambancard/UDID portal, clearly indicating the type and percentage of disability.

9.      Experience/Service certificates for each organization/company, arranged chronologically from the first to the last/current company.

10. Documents should clearly establish the required experience, including:

• Experience/Service certificate as per NTPC prescribed sample format
• Offer of appointment/Appointment letter
• Letter of Confirmation/Absorption
• Letter/Order on completion of training, if any
• Joining Order/Letter
• Role Assignment orders
• Promotion orders
• Transfer orders
• Organizational charts
• Form-16, etc.
• Pay slips: 02 pay slips per year for each organization/department/section, as applicable.

11. Candidates currently working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings must submit NOC from the current employer.

12. Such candidates must also provide pay-scale circular/maxima/minimum of 02 years' service in the required pay scale of Rs. 60,000–1,80,000 or above, i.e. NTPC E3 grade or above effective from 01.01.2017, or equivalent scale.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

General Conditions

1.      Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

2.      All qualifications should be full-time qualifications from Universities/Institutions recognized and approved in India.

3.      All computations of age, experience, qualification, etc. will be made with reference to the last date of receipt of online application mentioned in the advertisement.

4.      Candidates cannot change the category filled in the online application form and cannot claim the benefit of another category later.

5.      Candidates claiming reservation/relaxation must produce the appropriate certificate from the Competent Authority within the prescribed time.

6.      NTPC may cancel/restrict/curtail/increase the number of vacancies or, if necessary, add new posts without further notice and without assigning any reason.

7.      NTPC may restrict the number of candidates for further selection through application shortlisting/screening based on qualification, percentage of marks, years of post-qualification experience, written/computer-based test, personal interview, or a combination thereof.

8.      NTPC may prescribe additional minimum eligibility standards/criteria beyond the minimum eligibility requirements mentioned in the advertisement.

9.      The selected candidates may be posted at any NTPC Station/Project/JV/Subsidiary.

10. All posts are transferable at the sole discretion of Management.

11. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility and other norms on the specified dates and provide correct information/certificates in the application.

12. If at any stage of recruitment a candidate is found not to fulfill the eligibility norms or has furnished false/misleading information or suppressed any material fact, candidature/services may be terminated without notice.

13. Any form of canvassing will disqualify the candidate.

14. Proceedings relating to any claim or dispute arising out of the advertisement/application shall be instituted only in Delhi courts/tribunals/forums, and Delhi courts/tribunals shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
