• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

• ITI

• Equivalent

OR

• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) by NCVT.

Sports Eligibility

Sports achievements are prescribed separately for:

• Level-5/4
• Level-3/2
• Level-1

Eligible achievements include participation/medals in:

• Olympics
• World Championships
• World Cup
• Asian Games
• Commonwealth Games
• Youth Olympics
• Champions Trophy
• Commonwealth Championships
• Asian Championships
• SAF Games
• USIC Championships
• National Championships
• National Games
• Federation Cup
• All India Inter University etc.

Only recognized federations' certificates are accepted, and sports performance must be on or after 01 April 2024.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 25 Years

Cut-off Date: 01 January 2027

Eligible DOB:

• Between 01.01.2002 and 01.01.2009 (inclusive).

Selection Process

Selection consists of:

1.      Online Application Screening

2.      Document Verification (DV)

3.      Sports Trial

4.      Sports Achievement Assessment

5.      Educational Qualification Marks

6.      Medical Examination

7.      Final Merit

Candidates must secure minimum 25/40 marks in Trial to qualify further.

Distribution of Marks

• Sports Achievement – 50 Marks
• Trial (Game Skill, Fitness, Coach Observation) – 40 Marks
• Educational Qualification – 10 Marks

Total – 100 Marks.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• Level-5/4 – 70
• Level-3/2 – 65
• Level-1 – 60

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Other allowances admissible as per Railway rules. During training only stipend is payable where applicable.

4.      Upload photograph and signature.

5.      Upload required documents.

6.      Pay application fee online.

7.      Submit application.

8.      Save registration number.

• SC/ST Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport-size photographs
• Aadhaar/approved Identity Proof
• Original certificates during DV & Trial
• NOC (for Government/PSU employees, if applicable).

• Only online applications accepted.
• One application for one game/event only.
• Multiple applications with different details will be rejected.
• No TA/DA or accommodation.
• Bring own sports kit.
• Four passport photographs required during Trial.
• Medical fitness mandatory.
• Service Bond of 5 years.
• Sports performance during probation will be assessed.
• Doping cases under NADA/WADA may lead to rejection/termination.
• Railway reserves the right to modify/cancel vacancies.
• Selection is provisional until verification.
