Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification

The candidate must possess:

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a Government-recognized university/institute.

Work Experience Requirements

A. General Manager

Common Requirement

• Candidate should be presently working/worked in:
• Railways
• Railway PSUs
• Metro organizations
• High Speed/RRTS/Metro PSUs
• Government Organization
• Minimum 21 years post-qualification experience.
• Out of this, 7 years’ experience in the relevant field/sub-domain is required.
• Experience should be post-qualification experience.

For Contract / Deputation Candidates

The candidate should meet any applicable one of the following pay-scale conditions:

• Presently working in IDA pay scale of ₹1,20,000–₹2,80,000; OR
• CDA Pay Matrix Level-14 (7th CPC) or above; OR
• Working for 2 years in IDA pay scale of ₹1,00,000–₹2,60,000; OR
• Working for 4 years in CDA Pay Matrix Level-13A/13 (7th CPC); OR
• Consolidated pay of minimum ₹1,40,000 per month or above and working at the level of GM/E-8 or above in a Government Organization.

For Re-employment Candidates

• Minimum 21 years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant field/sub-domain experience.
• Candidate should be presently working or retired from:
• IDA pay scale of ₹1,20,000–₹2,80,000 or above, OR
• CDA Pay Matrix Level-14 (7th CPC) or above.

Additional General Manager Experience

Common Requirement

• Candidate should be presently working/worked in Railways/Railway PSUs/Metro organizations/Metro PSUs/Government Organization at the prescribed pay scale/consolidated pay.
• Minimum 18 years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant field/sub-domain experience.

Contract / Deputation Candidates

Candidate should meet the applicable pay-scale requirement:

• Presently in IDA pay scale of ₹1,00,000–₹2,60,000 or above; OR
• Working for 2 years in IDA pay scale of ₹90,000–₹2,40,000; OR
• Working for 2 years in CDA Pay Matrix Level-13A/13 (7th CPC) or above; OR
• Consolidated pay of Government Organization of minimum ₹1,15,000 per month or above and working at the level of Additional General Manager/E-7 or above.

Re-employment Candidates

• Minimum 18 years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant field/sub-domain experience.
• Candidate should be presently working or retired from:
• IDA pay scale of ₹1,00,000–₹2,60,000 or above, OR
• CDA Pay Matrix Level-13A/13 (7th CPC) or above.

Additional Note for AGM

Candidates selected as AGM on deputation will be considered for promotion as GM on completion of 2 years (combined in parent organization and MPMRCL) in IDA Pay Scale ₹1,00,000–₹2,60,000 / 4 years combined in parent organization and MPMRCL in CDA Pay Matrix Level-13A/13 (7th CPC), subject to fulfilment of other eligibility conditions for selection as GM and availability of vacant post.

Age Limit

Experience and age are reckoned as on the closing date of advertisement. Therefore, the relevant cut-off date is 13/09/2026.

Contract

Deputation

Parent Pay + Deputation Allowances & other applicable allowances

Re-employment

Consolidated pay for retired officers joining on re-employment:

• Retired from Level-14: ₹1,65,900/- per month
• Plus other applicable allowances.

Additional General Manager — E-7

Deputation

Parent Pay + Deputation Allowances & other applicable allowances
OR
Pay & allowances of MPMRCL as per rules of the corporation

Re-employment

• Retired from Level-13A: ₹1,42,300/- per month
• Retired from Level-13: ₹1,27,400/- per month

For candidates applying on deputation, an undertaking from the candidate that the NOC and Vigilance Clearance will be submitted at the time of Interview/Joining is required along with the application.

Documents Required

The following self-certified documents are required:

1.      Age Proof — Matriculation Certificate or equivalent.

2.      Essential Qualification Certificate as prescribed in the notification.

3.      Experience Certificate of ex-employer(s).

4.      Appointment Order / Office Order of Joining of the current organization.

5.      Office Order showing present pay scale and promotion to present grade.

6.      Summarized brief description of relevant experience.

7.      Latest Salary Slips — 3 months.

8.      NOC and Vigilance Clearance by the present employer, or undertaking as applicable for candidates applying on deputation.

9.      APAR copies for the last 5 years for General Manager and Additional General Manager.

10. Self-declaration by candidates working on consolidated pay in Government organizations confirming that they are/were working at the level of post prescribed under the eligibility criteria.

Consequence of Non-Submission

Non-submission of documents mentioned above may result in rejection of candidature at any stage during recruitment.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

1. Shortlisting

MPMRCL reserves the right to shortlist candidates for interview.

Priority for shortlisting will be given to:

• Relevant Metro experience
• Seniority in the desired pay scale

The decision of the Selection Committee will be final.

2. Communication

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered e-mail ID provided during application.

3. No Individual Postal Communication

No separate communication by post will be sent individually.

4. Interview

Shortlisted candidates must appear for an interview through:

• Online mode, or
• Offline mode

on the scheduled date and time with all original documents, testimonials and experience certificates.

5. Change of Interview Schedule

No request for change in the scheduled date and time of interview will be entertained.

6. Written Test

Management reserves the right to conduct a written test, if required.

7. Relaxation in Selection Criteria

MPMRCL may relax selection criteria in case of candidates having good experience in a similar project.

8. Medical Examination

Management will assess the fitness of selected candidates. Selected candidates will be sent for medical examination according to the medical standards prescribed for the post by MPMRCL.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

1.      The number of posts may vary based on further assessment of requirement.

2.      “Metro” means Metro Rail System.

3.      Post-qualification experience means experience acquired after obtaining the qualification as per the criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

4.      Experience and age will be reckoned as on the closing date of advertisement.

5.      Prescribed qualifications are minimum requirements to apply; merely possessing them does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.

6.      Experience must be post-qualification and minimum experience alone does not confer any right for interview/selection at MPMRCL.

7.      Management reserves the right to assess the fitness of selected candidates, who will undergo medical examination according to prescribed standards.

8.      Candidates may be posted at Bhopal, Indore, other MPMRCL projects, anywhere in Madhya Pradesh or outside Madhya Pradesh during service.

9.      Other benefits apart from pay will be paid as per Company Policy.

10. Candidates selected on re-employment basis will be paid consolidated fee along with applicable allowances as per extant policy.

11. A selected candidate must indicate acceptance of the offer within 7 working days from receipt of offer. Otherwise, the next candidate in order of merit may be offered appointment. Competent Authority may grant extension depending upon exigencies if requested.

12. MPMRCL will not be liable for any damage/injury/loss to an individual, if any, sustained during the recruitment process and journey.
