Educational Qualification

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from:

• A University incorporated by Act of Central/State Legislature
  OR
• Institution established by Act of Parliament
  OR
• Deemed University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956
  OR
• Equivalent qualification

Candidates appearing in final year in 2026 are eligible provisionally.

Professional/technical qualifications recognized as equivalent are eligible.

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2026)

Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 25 years

Date of Birth must be between:

• Not earlier than 02 August 2001
• Not later than 01 August 2006

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Civilian Central Government Servants: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

Total relaxation on Government Service limited to 5 years.

Age proof accepted only as per Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.

SELECTION PROCESS / RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1. Written Examination (19 July 2026)

Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks
(10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon)

Paper II: General Studies, Essay & Comprehension – 200 Marks
(2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for wrong answers in Objective Paper.

2. Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) PET Standards:

For Men:

• 100m: 16 sec
• 800m: 3 min 45 sec
• Long Jump: 3.5 m (3 chances)
• Shot Put (7.26 kg): 4.5 m (3 chances)

For Women:

• 100m: 18 sec
• 800m: 4 min 45 sec
• Long Jump: 3.0 m (3 chances)
• Shot Put: Not Applicable

Interview/Personality Test

Marks: 150

Medical Standards Test

Conducted after Interview.

Final Merit

Based on Written Exam + Interview Marks.

Tie-breaking:

1.      Higher Written total

2.      Higher Paper-I marks

3.      Senior in age

4.      Commission discretion
