Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

Legal Assistant

Degree in Law from recognized university.
Experience requirement varies by department (1–3 years as Legal Practitioner or Government Legal Work).

Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university/institution.

Junior Engineer (Civil)

Degree in Civil Engineering
OR
Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering + two years’ experience (for DJB).

Grade-II (GNCTDSS) / Assistant Section Officer

Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University.
Computer proficiency required for DUSIB ASO.

Age Limit (Post-wise)

• Legal Assistant (Most Departments): Not exceeding 30 years
• Legal Assistant (DTC): 18–35 years
• Assistant Engineer (Civil): Not exceeding 30 years (DJB), 32 years (DAMB)
• Junior Engineer (Civil): Not exceeding 30 years / 18–32 years (NDMC)
• Grade-II (GNCTDSS): 21–30 years
• ASO (DPCC/DUSIB): Not exceeding 30 years

Cut-off Date for Age & Eligibility: 25/03/2026

Age Relaxation (As per Para 8)

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection through:

• One Tier Examination (AE & JE)
• Two Tier Examination (Legal Assistant & Grade-II/ASO)

Computer Based Test (CBT)
Negative Marking:

• 0.25 marks (1-mark question)
• 0.50 marks (2-mark question)

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General/EWS: 40%
• OBC (Delhi): 35%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
• ESM: 5% relaxation (minimum 30%)

Normalization of marks applicable.

₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Pay Level 6)
₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Pay Level 7 – DUSIB)

Assistant Engineer (Civil)
