Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India is acceptable.
• Graduation result must have been declared on or before 31 July 2026.
• For NATS candidates, graduation result should have been declared between 01 March 2022 and 31 July 2026 (inclusive).

Nationality

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Age Limit

Cut-off Date: 01 July 2026

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 28 Years

For General/EWS:

• Date of Birth between 01.07.1998 and 01.07.2006 (inclusive).

Candidates under NAPS should be below 34 years after applicable relaxation.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection consists of:

1.      Online Written Examination

2.      Local Language Test

3.      Document Verification

4.      Medical Fitness

5.      Personal Interaction (if required by the Bank)

Online Examination Pattern

• Duration: 90 Minutes
• Merit prepared on marks obtained.
• Tie-breaking: Older candidate ranked higher.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Monthly Stipend

For NATS candidates, the Bank pays:

Government share of ₹6,150 is credited separately through DBT. No additional allowances or benefits are payable.

2.      Register on NATS or NAPS portal.

3.      Keep email ID and mobile number active.

4.      Obtain NATS/NAPS Enrollment Number.

5.      Visit the BFSI SSC portal.

6.      Fill the online application.

7.      Enter NATS/NAPS Enrollment Number.

8.      Upload required details.

9.      Pay the application fee online.

10. Submit the application.

11. Download and keep the application printout.

• Degree Certificate

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Apprenticeship period is one year.
• Apprentices are not Bank employees.
• No guarantee of permanent employment.
• Candidates with one year or more job/training experience after graduation are not eligible.
• Previous apprentices of IOB or any organization are not eligible.
• No reservation for Ex-servicemen.
• 12 casual leaves per year.
• Hostel and transport facilities are not provided.
• Final apprenticeship certificate will be issued after successful completion and assessment.
• Bank may terminate apprenticeship for misconduct, unauthorized absence, poor performance, or violation of rules.
• Application fee is non-refundable.
• Bank reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process.
• Court jurisdiction: Chennai.
