Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• First Class M.Sc. in:
• Forestry
• Forestry, Wildlife & Environmental Sciences
• Botany
• Zoology
• Wildlife Science
• NET Qualification
• Two years of research experience

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• First Class M.Sc. in:
• Forestry
• Forestry, Wildlife & Environmental Sciences
• Botany
• Zoology
• Wildlife Science
• One year research experience preferred.

Other Desirable Qualifications

• Capable of extensive touring in forest areas.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.
• Experience in:
• Field data collection
• Data analysis
• Report writing
• GIS/Remote Sensing software
• Accepted NET examinations include ICFRE, ICAR, CSIR-UGC, or any other National Level examination conducted by Government of India Departments/Agencies.

Age Limit (Cut-off Date)

• SRF: Maximum 32 Years
• JRF: Maximum 28 Years

Age Relaxation

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of:

1.      Scrutiny of applications.

2.      Publication of eligible candidates list.

3.      Interview.

4.      Final selection by the Institute.
