Educational Qualification

Candidate must possess:

Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent from a Central Government/State Government recognized Institution/University in any of the following disciplines:

1.      Telecommunications

2.      Electronics

3.      Radio

4.      Computer

5.      Electrical

6.      Information Technology (IT)

7.      Instrumentation

OR

• M.Sc. (Electronics)
• M.Sc. (Computer Science)

Candidates possessing higher qualifications like M.Tech in the above disciplines are also eligible.

The qualification must be completed on or before the closing date of application.

Age Limit

Cut-off Date: Closing date of receipt of online application.

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years (UR/EWS/OBC(CL))

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

The selection process consists of:

1.      Computer Based Test (CBT)

2.      Preparation of Merit List

3.      Document Verification

4.      Medical Examination

Examination Pattern

• Mode: Online CBT
• Total Questions: 120
• Total Marks: 480
• Duration: 3 Hours
• Negative Marking: Yes (25% of allotted marks deducted for each wrong answer)

Sections

• UR/EWS/OBC(CL): 50%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 45%

Final merit will be prepared based on total marks obtained.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Pay Scale: IDA Pay Scale E-1
• Salary Range: ₹16,400 – ₹40,500
• 2nd PRC Pay Scale effective from 01.01.2007.

• Bond Requirement:
• Service Bond: ₹6 Lakhs.
• Bond Period: 7 Years.
• Probation Period: 2 Years.
• Training Duration:
• Induction Training: 10 weeks
• Field Training: 4 weeks
• JTO Phase-II Training: 6 weeks.
