Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

B.Tech (Dairy Technology)
OR
B.Sc. (Dairy Technology)
OR
I.D.D. (Dairy Technology / Dairy Husbandry)

AND

Two years work experience (mandatory for I.D.D. candidates) from recognized university/institute.

Experience certificate must be issued by controlling officer of concerned institute/department.

No marks will be given for mandatory qualification experience.

IDD means Indian Dairy Diploma in Dairy Technology / Dairy Husbandry.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years
As on: 01.08.2026

Maximum Age:

Unreserved: 37 years
Unreserved Women: 40 years
BC/EBC (Male/Female): 40 years
SC/ST (Male/Female): 42 years

Date of birth as per Matriculation certificate will be accepted.

Age Relaxation

Disabled Candidates: 10 years

Regular Bihar Government Servants (3 years continuous service): 5 years

Contract basis Dairy Field Officer/Dairy Technical Officer:
Relaxation equal to period of employment (calculated till 01.08.2026)

Candidates falling within earlier advertisement age limit between 01.08.2023 and 01.08.2026 are eligible.

Relaxation admissible only under specified clauses.

Normalization process will be applied.

Merit Preparation

Written Exam: 75 points (0.75 factor applied)
Work Experience: 5 marks per year (maximum 25 marks)
Total: 100 points

Work experience counted till 13.02.2026.
