Written Examination Details

Preliminary Exam

• 100 Questions | 100 Marks | 2 Hours
• Subjects:
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 40
• Physics – 60
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30%

Main Exam

• Paper-1: General Hindi (50) + General English (50) – Qualifying (30 marks required)
• Paper-2: Physics (100 Marks, 100 Questions, 3 Hours)
• Negative Marking: 0.2 marks per wrong answer
• Minimum Qualifying Marks (Paper-2): 33%

Physical Efficiency Test

• Running, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put (qualifying only)

• Pay as per Bihar Government rules
