Educational Qualification

• Passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized Board
• Passed ITI Trade Examination in Machinist or Fitter from a recognized ITI
• Preference will be given to regular ITI course, not distance education

Maximum Age:

• Unreserved (Male): 37 years
• Unreserved (Female): 40 years
• BC / EBC (Male & Female): 40 years

• Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
• Bihar Government employees (3 years continuous service): 5 years
• Other relaxations: As per Bihar Government resolutions

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT)

Exam Details:

• Total Questions: 100 (Objective Type)
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Subjects:
• Machinist: 30 Questions
• Fitter: 30 Questions
• Mathematics (10th level): 20 Questions
• General Knowledge: 20 Questions
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer
• Normalization applicable (multiple shifts)

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General: 40%
• BC: 36.5%
• EBC: 34%
• SC/ST/Women/Disabled: 32%

Document Verification after CBT based on merit list.
