Educational Qualification

A. Programme Officer

Postgraduate qualification in First Division in any of the following:

• MBA
• B.E.
• MRTM (Master of Rural Technology and Management)
• Mathematics
• Physics

Salary

• Pay Band: 9300–34800
• Grade Pay: 4400
• Pay Level: 10
• Consolidated Contractual Salary: ₹39,875/-

Selection Weightage

• Percentage obtained in minimum educational qualification: 70 marks
• Computer Practical Examination: 15 marks
• Experience in Government Rural Development Schemes at least on an equivalent pay scale:
• 1 to 2 years: 5 marks
• Up to 5 years: 10 marks
• More than 5 years: 15 marks

B. Assistant Programmer

Either:

• M.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology, MCA or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

OR

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

Salary

• Pay Band: 9300–34800
• Grade Pay: 4300
• Pay Level: 09
• Consolidated Contractual Salary: ₹35,165/-

Selection Weightage

• Percentage in minimum educational qualification: 45 marks
• Merit marks obtained in Computer & Practical Examination: 40 marks
• Minimum 60% marks in the Computer/Practical Examination are mandatory.
• Experience in Government Rural Development Schemes at an equivalent pay scale:
• 1 to 2 years: 5 marks
• Up to 5 years: 10 marks
• More than 5 years: 15 marks

C. Accountant

• 55% marks in B.Com
• 50% marks in B.Com for SC/ST candidates
• For Bastar and Surguja Divisions: Second Division B.Com is specified.

4.      Send the application through Registered Post/Speed Post.

5.      Ensure that the application reaches the office by 16 October 2026 up to 5:30 PM.

6.      Applications submitted personally/directly will not be accepted.

7.      Submit a separate application for each post.

8.      Attach two self-addressed envelopes with ₹5 postage stamps each.

9.      Attach the latest passport-size photograph.

10. Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates/mark sheets and other required documents.

11. Attach the relevant experience certificate wherever applicable.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

Application Conditions

• Applications will not be accepted personally/directly.
• Applications received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered.
• A separate application is required for each post.
• The name of the post applied for must be clearly written on the envelope.
• Separate applications must be submitted if applying for more than one post.

Certificates

• Candidates applying against reserved posts must attach a permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
• The applicant must be a native/resident of Chhattisgarh and must attach the prescribed residence certificate.
• Persons with disabilities must submit the certificate issued by the Medical Board.
• Passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of certificates/mark sheets must be attached.
• Applications without self-attested documents may be rejected.

Contract Appointment

• The contractual appointment will be for a maximum period of 01 year.
• Depending upon requirement, work performance and conduct, continuation for another year may be considered as per Government instructions and mutual consent.
• Conditions regarding contractual appointment will be governed by the General Administration Department's memorandum dated 31 December 2012.
• Leave will be governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules, 2012.
• Contract employees will be governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965.
• After completion/termination of service, the employee will not be entitled to pension, gratuity, death benefit, etc.

Experience

• Experience marks will be awarded only for experience in Government Rural Development Schemes at least on an equivalent pay scale.
• The experience certificate must contain the institution's name and complete address, office order number and date, issuing officer's name/designation, contact details, pay scale and name of the relevant Government Rural Development Scheme.
• Experience without the required details will not be considered and no experience marks will be awarded.

Merit / Skill Test

• If applications are received in large numbers, 15 candidates per vacancy may be called for the skill test.
• Merit will be prepared on the basis of educational qualification, experience and skill-test marks.
• In case of equal marks, the older candidate will be given priority in appointment.
• Where percentage marks are not printed on the marksheet, candidates are instructed to carefully photocopy the reverse side of the marksheet, self-attest it and attach it.

Other Conditions

• Candidates previously removed from a Government department due to indiscipline, misconduct, arbitrariness or irregularity, or whose contractual service was not extended on such grounds, will not be eligible.
• Candidature may be cancelled if incorrect information is provided.
• Incomplete, unclear or defective applications may be rejected without separate intimation.
• A candidate who married before attaining the prescribed minimum marriage age will not be eligible.
• A candidate who marries a person who already has a living spouse will not be eligible, subject to the conditions/exceptions stated in the notification.
• The final decision regarding disputes arising during the recruitment process will rest with the Collector & District Programme Coordinator, Gariaband.
• The number of posts is subject to change and may be increased or decreased by the Collector & District Programme Coordinator.
• Any attempt to directly or indirectly influence the recruitment process may result in cancellation of candidature.
• The prescribed reservation roster for District Gariaband will be followed.
• Applications/candidature/appointment may be cancelled at any stage if any information is incorrect or if the prescribed rules/conditions are not followed.
• Clerical/factual errors in the advertisement, including errors relating to the number of vacancies, may be corrected and published through notice/newspaper/website.
