Education Qualification

A. Assistant Programmer

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

1.      M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

OR

2.      B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Experience

Experience of working in Government Rural Development Schemes at least on an equivalent pay scale is required.

B. Accountant

• B.Com passed.
• B.Com with 55% marks for the applicable general qualification.
• 50% marks in B.Com for SC/ST candidates.
• For Bastar and Surguja Divisions, the PDF mentions Second Division B.Com qualification.

Experience

Experience of working in Government Rural Development Schemes at least on an equivalent pay scale is required.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Age Calculation Date: 01 January 2026

Age relaxation will be applicable to Chhattisgarh residents and different categories according to the instructions issued by the General Administration Department from time to time.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

The PDF contains 19 conditions. The important provisions are:

1.      The candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age, calculated as on 01/01/2026.

2.      Only the prescribed valid certificate issued by the competent authority will be accepted. Caste Verification Certificate or affidavit must be attached with the permanent caste certificate.

3.      Persons with disabilities must submit a certificate issued by the Medical Board.

4.      The applicant must be a native resident of Chhattisgarh and must attach the residence certificate issued by the competent authority.

5.      Photograph, certificates and mark sheets must be self-attested. Applications without self-attested documents may be rejected.

6.      Appointment will be governed by the applicable contractual appointment conditions referred to in the General Administration Department memorandum dated 31 December 2012.

7.      Leave entitlement during the contractual period will be governed by the applicable Chhattisgarh Civil Services contractual appointment rules.

8.      Contractual employees will be governed by the applicable Chhattisgarh Civil Services Conduct Rules, 1965.

9.      During the contract period, either party may terminate the appointment by giving one month's prior notice or one month's salary in lieu of notice.

10. After completion of contractual service, the candidate will not be entitled to pension, gratuity, death benefits or similar benefits on the basis of that contractual service.

11. Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government institutions must apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate.

12. Candidates previously removed from a Mahatma Gandhi NREGA post due to irregularities, or whose contractual service was not extended for such reasons, will not be eligible. Providing incorrect information can result in cancellation of candidature.

13. Incomplete, unclear or defective applications will be rejected without separate notice.

14. A candidate who married before the prescribed minimum marriage age will not be eligible for appointment. Marriage certificate is required.

15. Candidates having more than two children, where one child was born on or after 26 January 2001, will not be eligible.

16. A candidate who marries a person whose spouse is already living will not be eligible, subject to the provision mentioned in the PDF regarding Government relaxation in appropriate cases.

17. The decision of the concerned District Programme Coordinator/Collector regarding appointment will be final and binding.

18. The name of the post and required category/level details must be clearly written on the envelope.

19. Applications must be sent by Registered Post/Speed Post to the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Bijapur. Personal submission is not accepted, and applications received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered.
