Educational Qualification

Counsellor

• Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
• Graduate Degree should be in Social Work / Sociology / Social Science / Health / Counselling.
• PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work on Computer/Web-based Applications and Software.
• Minimum 01 year experience with Government/NGOs in Women & Child Development Sector.
• Desirable: Knowledge of English and Hindi.

Art & Craft-cum-Music Teacher

• 12th Pass from a recognized Board.
• Minimum 02 years experience as Art Teacher / Craft Teacher / Music Teacher.
• Experience should be from Government or recognized Non-Government Institution.
• Desirable: Knowledge of English and Hindi.

Age Limit

• Age calculated as on: 01 January 2026
• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Age limit applicable to all advertised posts.
• Age relaxation as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
• Maximum age after all relaxations: 45 Years.
• General Administration Department, Chhattisgarh rules will apply for relaxation.
• Age Proof: Birth Certificate or Class 10th Marksheet.

Domicile & Reservation

• Candidate must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh.
• Residence Certificate must be issued by the competent authority.
• Reservation will be applicable as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
• Reserved-category candidates must submit a Permanent Caste Certificate.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on a Marks-Based System.
• Personal Interview/Skill Test will be conducted wherever applicable.
• Educational Qualification Weightage: 70%.
• Experience Marks: Maximum 10 Marks.
• No marks for prescribed minimum experience.
• Additional experience: 02 Marks per additional 01 Year.
• Maximum Experience Marks: 10 Marks.
• Bonus Marks: Maximum 10 Marks.
• Relevant experience/experience in specified 63 Child Care Institutions: 02 Marks per Year.
• Maximum Bonus Marks: 10 Marks.
• Personal Interview: 20 Marks.
• Provisional Merit List will be prepared.

Shortlisting

• Interview/Skill Test shortlisting ratio: 1:5 per Post.
• Overall Provisional Merit List will be prepared.
• Category-wise Provisional Merit List will be prepared.
• Highest-scoring candidate in the respective category will receive the appointment order.

Tie-Breaking Rule

• In case of equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.
• If age is also equal, higher marks in minimum educational qualification will be considered.

Waiting List

• Waiting List: 25% candidates or 03 candidates, whichever is higher.
• Selection List validity: 01 Year.
• Waiting List validity: 01 Year from publication of Selection List.

Salary

• Counsellor: ₹23,170/- per Month.

• Experience for different posts should mention separate periods and designations.
• Government/Semi-Government employees must submit an NOC.
• Application without required NOC will not be considered.
• Final decision regarding experience will rest with the competent appointing authority.

Marriage-Related Eligibility

• Marriage before attaining the legally prescribed minimum marriage age may make the candidate ineligible.
• A candidate marrying a person whose spouse is already living will ordinarily be ineligible.
• Government may grant exemption where sufficient grounds exist.
• Where applicable, selected candidates must submit an affidavit on ₹50 Stamp Paper.
• Affidavit must be attested by a Notary.

Misconduct-Related Ineligibility

• Candidates removed from service for proven misconduct may be ineligible.
• Candidates removed for proven financial irregularities may be ineligible.
• This applies to relevant service in Child Care Institutions/Mission Vatsalya.
