Educational Qualification

1. Industrial Safety

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology with:

• Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering Management

OR

• B.Tech in Safety/Fire Engineering.

2. Geology

• Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.

3. Electrical

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology.

4. Mechanical

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery.

5. Civil

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

6. M&HS — Medical & Health Services

Option 1:

• MBBS from a recognized institute
• Minimum 3 years' experience
• Out of this, minimum 1 year must be in:
• Emergency services, or
• Occupational Health services.

Option 2:

• PG Diploma
• Minimum 3 years' experience after diploma in the clinical field.

Certificates Required for M&HS

• MBBS Degree/PG Diploma certificate from an MCI-recognized institute
• Valid registration certificate from MCI/State Registration Councils
• Experience certificates duly signed and stamped by the head of hospital/institute/authorized medical practitioner.

7. Environment Management

Any one of:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environment Engineering/Technology

OR

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology with PG Degree/Diploma in:
• Environmental Engineering
• Environmental Management
• Environment Science

OR

• Post Graduate Degree in Environment Science.

8. Mineral Processing

Option 1:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Engineering or Mineral Processing

OR

Option 2:

• M.Tech in:
• Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering
• Mineral Engineering
• Mineral Processing.

9. Human Resources

Option 1:

• MBA with specialization in Personnel Management/HR

OR

• Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/HR

OR

Option 2:

• Master's in Social Work as acceptable under various Labour Legislation for working as Welfare Officer.

10. Finance

• Passed Final Examination of:
• Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), or
• Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

11. Survey

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering with Surveyor Certificate of Competency

OR

• M.Tech (Geomatics).

Qualification Notes

Dual Specialization

1.      If a course has dual specialization with one major and one minor discipline, the applicant will be considered only in the major specialization.

2.      If dual specialization has equal weightage, it will be considered subject to submission of a certificate from the concerned Institute/University confirming equal weightage.

3.      Equivalent qualifications will be considered according to Government / UGC / AIU / AICTE guidelines.

Experience Rules

• Experience is counted only from the date of obtaining the prescribed basic/essential qualification.
• The relevant date for this purpose is the date of publication of the result of the prescribed basic/essential qualification.
• Experience must be in the relevant field.
• Relevant field experience refers to experience in the advertised cadre/discipline in:
• Mining
• Metal
• Manufacturing industry
• Experience from other industries may also be considered subject to submission of an Experience Certificate.

Experience Certificate Must Contain

• Designation
• Department
• Date of Joining
• Date of Leaving
• Job description/job responsibility during the entire tenure
• Date-specific details where responsibilities changed

The experience must match HCL's domain requirements and will be assessed during document verification.

Proof of Each Employment

Applicants must upload documents for each employment, with minimum any two documents:

• Appointment Letter
• Pay Slip
• Form-16
• PF Statement
• Bank Statement showing salary credit

Failure to upload/submit the required record may lead to cancellation of candidature.

Selection Process

• Personal Interview – 100% weightage
• Candidates will normally be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio.
• For a single vacancy, up to 10 candidates may be shortlisted.
• HCL may conduct a Written Screening Test, if required.
• Additional relevant experience and higher relevant qualifications may be considered for shortlisting.

Compensation Package / Salary

Selected candidates will receive the applicable Consolidated Pay according to the grade.

For M&HS FTE-II, the consolidated pay is ₹94,200/month.
