Educational Qualification

The notification does state that candidates must possess educational qualifications and experience recognized by MCI/NMC/Government of India. If the qualification or experience is found not recognized, candidature can be cancelled.

Experience, wherever prescribed, will be counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.

Age Limit

Cut-off/Crucial Date: 21 August 2026

Age and all other qualifications are counted as on 21 August 2026.

Age Relaxation

Important: No age relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against UR vacancies.

PwBD candidates must have not less than 40% specified disability and satisfy the functional requirements of the post for horizontal reservation as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

The selection process is:

Application → Scrutiny → Shortlisting (if required) → Personal Interview → Medical Fitness → Appointment

Applications received within the prescribed date/time with the required fee will be scrutinized by the Institute's Scrutiny Committee.

Only eligible candidates will be called for personal interview before the Standing Selection Committee.

If the number of applicants is large, the Selection Committee may formulate shortlisting criteria, which may include a written examination.

Interview letters will be sent through email only. Interview schedule and eligibility/shortlisting information will also be published on the AIIMS Bathinda website.

Selected candidates will receive appointment letters, subject to being declared medically fit by the competent authority.

The competent authority's decision regarding selection is final.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

These are under the 7th CPC, plus usual allowances including NPA, if applicable.

How to Apply – Step-by-Step

Step 1: Check eligibility for the concerned faculty post. All eligibility requirements must be fulfilled on or before 21 August 2026.

Step 2: Complete the mandatory Google Form by 21 August 2026, 5:00 PM IST.

Step 3: Visit the AIIMS Bathinda website and download the prescribed application form.

Step 4: Fill the downloaded application form in MS Word format according to the prescribed proforma and take a printout.

Step 5: Pay the prescribed application fee through online mode only using the specified payment gateway.

Step 6: Mention the transaction number in the space provided in the application form.

Step 7: Attach the transaction receipt and all required self-attested documents/certificates.

Step 8: Write on the envelope:

“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF………………… DEPTT. OF………………….”

Step 9: Send the completed application through Registered Post or Speed Post only to:

Step 10: The hard copy must reach AIIMS Bathinda on or before 28 August 2026, 5:00 PM IST.

Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted, and AIIMS Bathinda will not be responsible for postal delays.

Documents Required

Self-attested copies of the following documents must accompany the application:

1.      Application Form and candidate's brief profile in prescribed format.

2.      All mark sheets and degree certificates.

3.      FMGE Certificate, if applicable.

4.      Registration and Additional Registration with Medical Council Certificate.

5.      Proof of Age/Date of Birth.

6.      ST/SC/OBC/EWS/PwBD category certificate in prescribed Government of India format.

7.      Experience Certificate.

8.      NOC for candidates working in Central/State Government Organizations, PSUs or Autonomous Bodies.

9.      Two passport-size photographs.

10. Proof of application fee payment.

11. Any other relevant documents.

At interview, shortlisted candidates must bring their original certificates/documents, including 10th certificate, essential qualification and experience certificates and NOC where applicable, along with self-attested photocopies.

OBC Certificate Instructions

OBC applicants seeking reservation/relaxation must belong to the Non-Creamy Layer.

The OBC certificate should:

• Be issued during 01 April 2026 to 21 August 2026.
• Be valid for employment in Central Government institutions.
• Follow the prescribed DoPT format.
• Establish that the candidate's caste is included in the Central List of Government of India.
• Clearly state that the candidate does not belong to the Creamy Layer.

OBC candidates must additionally furnish the prescribed Non-Creamy Layer declaration during document verification.

Failure to satisfy these requirements means the OBC reservation claim will not be entertained; the candidate may be treated as UR if a UR post is advertised.

EWS Certificate Instructions

The EWS certificate must be in the prescribed Central Government format.

It should be based on income for financial year 2025–26, issued between 01 April 2026 and 21 August 2026, and valid for financial year 2026–27.

The certificate language should be Hindi or English.

According to the attached EWS certificate proforma, the gross annual family income should be below ₹8 lakh, and the family should not own/possess:

• 5 acres or more agricultural land.
• Residential flat of 1,000 sq. ft. or above.
• Residential plot of 100 sq. yards or above in notified municipalities.
• Residential plot of 200 sq. yards or above in areas other than notified municipalities.

EWS posts will not be carried forward as backlog vacancies if unfilled.

SC/ST Certificate Instructions

SC/ST candidates must provide the certificate in the prescribed Government of India format.

The PDF includes the prescribed SC/ST certificate proforma and identifies competent authorities such as District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Collector, Deputy Commissioner, prescribed Magistrates, Revenue Officers not below Tehsildar rank and other specified authorities.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation.
• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD will be according to Government of India rules.
• Category certificates must be valid and in prescribed formats.
• Candidates failing to produce valid category certificates during document verification may have their candidature cancelled.
• All application columns must be clearly filled.
• Incomplete, late or fee-deficient applications will be summarily rejected.
• Candidates should maintain an active personal email ID and mobile number throughout recruitment.
• Call letters and other recruitment information will be communicated through email only.
• Candidates already employed in Government/Autonomous/Statutory organizations/PSUs must submit an NOC.
• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications, supporting documents and fees.
• Category once selected cannot be changed later.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• Candidate should not have been convicted by any court of law.
• False information or suppression of material facts can lead to cancellation of candidature or termination after appointment.
• Posts are full-time, and private practice of any kind is prohibited.
• Selected candidates will be governed by the New Pension Scheme as specified in the notification.
• Appointment is subject to two years' probation/review.
• Selected candidates must personally and physically appear before the Selection Committee at AIIMS Bathinda.
• Online interviews are not permitted.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Original documents will be verified during interview.
• Executive Director, AIIMS Bathinda is the final authority in recruitment matters and may amend, withdraw or cancel any/all posts or the advertisement.
• Courts of Bathinda, Punjab will have exclusive jurisdiction regarding recruitment disputes.
• Recruitment records/documents will be preserved for six months from declaration of the result.
