Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Postgraduate Medical Degree:
• MD
• MS
• DNB
• M.Ch.
• D.M.
• Or equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty.
• Qualification must be recognized by MCI.
• Candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
• Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency are not eligible for Senior Resident posts.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 45 Years
• Cut-off Date: 01 July 2026

Age Relaxation

• 10 Years relaxation for:
• Widows
• Deserted Women
• Women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried

Venue: Office of Director Principal (Room No. 210), Level-2, Block-D, GMCH, Chandigarh.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive:

• ₹67,700/-
• Minimum Pay of Level-11 (1st Cell)
• Plus NPA @20%
• As per Central Government Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016.

3.      Attach self-attested copies of all required documents.

4.      Carry original certificates for verification.

5.      Bring one recent passport-size photograph.

6.      Deposit the ₹500 application fee at GMCH.

7.      Submit the application at Establishment Branch-II, Block-D, GMCH before 11:00 AM on 20 July 2026.

8.      Attend the walk-in interview at 2:00 PM on the same day.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
• Appointment is purely for 44 days.
• Vacancies may increase or decrease.
• Candidates already in Government service must apply through proper channel.
• Selected Government employees must submit NOC within 3 days.
• Candidates previously removed from GMCH due to misconduct are not eligible.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Applications in formats other than prescribed format will be rejected.
• Candidates selected through walk-in interview must apply again when regular recruitment is advertised.
• Original certificates must be produced during interview.
• Director Principal reserves the right to amend/cancel the advertisement.
• No TA/DA will be paid.
• Services may be terminated if work or conduct is unsatisfactory.
