Educational Qualification

Code-wise Qualification

• 101: 3-year B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
• 102: Matric + ITI Fitter (Minimum 2 years)
• 104: Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering
• 105: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 106: Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• 107: Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
• 108: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com
• 109: B.Com
• 110: Class XII Pass
• 111: Class XII Pass + Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator

Additional Qualification Conditions

• Regular full-time course only.
• Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD against reserved seats).
• ITI must be recognized by NCVET/SCVT.
• Part-time/Distance education not accepted.
• BE/BTech/MBA/CA/LLB/MCA or higher qualification holders are not eligible.
• Candidates completing qualification more than 5 years before eligibility date are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 Years
• Maximum: 24 Years

Cut-off Date: 31-07-2026

Age Relaxation

• SC – 5 Years
• OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
• PwBD – 10 Years
• PwBD + SC – Additional 5 Years
• PwBD + OBC (NCL) – Additional 3 Years

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

• No Written Examination
• Merit prepared on percentage obtained in qualifying examination.
• Tie-breaking:

1.      Older candidate preferred.

2.      Higher Class X marks if DOB is same.

• Document Verification.
• Pre-Engagement Medical Examination.
• Final Offer of Engagement.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules, 1992 (as amended), and Corporation guidelines.

1.      Visit IOCL website.

2.      Register on the appropriate portal:

o    NAPS for Codes 101, 102, 108, 109, 110 & 111.

o    NATS for Codes 104, 105, 106 & 107.

3.      Apply for the relevant apprenticeship opportunity.

4.      Fill the mandatory Microsoft Forms available on IOCL website.

5.      Ensure the same Email ID and Mobile Number are used in both steps.

6.      Complete Step I and Step II before the last date.

7.      Keep checking the website and registered email for updates.
