Educational Qualification

Candidates should have:

• Passed Regular Full-Time 10th/HSC/SSC
• Passed ITI under Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) in the respective trade
• Qualification must be from a recognized institute
• Candidates passed in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible.
• Candidates already undergoing/registered under NAPS apprenticeship elsewhere are not eligible.
• Candidates having one year or more work experience are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 26 Years
• Cut-off Date: 24 July 2026 (for General category)

Age Relaxation

• SC
• ST
• OBC (NCL)

Age relaxation will be provided as per Government guidelines.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be based purely on merit.

Weightage:

• 70% marks of 10th Standard
• 30% marks of ITI

There will be:

• No Written Examination
• No Interview

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Apprentices will receive monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Rules with subsequent amendments.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

1.      Ensure you satisfy all eligibility conditions.

2.      Register yourself on the NAPS 2.0 Portal and obtain the registration number.

3.      Arrange all original certificates and photocopies.

4.      Reach the Walk-In venue on 24 July 2026 before 10:00 AM.

5.      Attend document verification.

6.      Submit photocopies and required documents.

7.      Merit list will be prepared based on prescribed criteria.

• Valid Aadhaar Card
• 10th/HSC/SSC Mark Sheet
• Birth Certificate (if DOB not mentioned in 10th certificate)
• ITI NCVT Certificate (Original/Provisional)
• ITI Marksheets (All semesters/Consolidated)
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL) Certificate (if applicable)

Documents for Submission

• One set of photocopies/Xerox copies of all above certificates
• Three passport-size photographs
• NAPS Registration Details

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
• Registration on NAPS 2.0 Portal is mandatory.
• Candidates must satisfy eligibility before attending Walk-In.
• Information furnished must be correct.
• False information or suppression of facts will lead to cancellation.
• Candidates must possess Original/Provisional certificates on 24 July 2026.
• Shortlisted candidates' list will be published on HAL website.
• OBC candidates must submit valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
• Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
• HAL reserves the right to cancel, modify or restrict the notification or vacancies.
• HAL's decision regarding eligibility and selection will be final.
• Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment.
• Candidates must arrange their own travel and accommodation.
