1. Operator (HEMM) Gr. III

• Passed 10th with ITI / NCVT / NCVET of 2 years duration in Mechanic Motor Vehicle / MMV trade.
• Valid HMV driving licence is required.
• First Aid Training Certificate is desirable.

2. Mining Mate Gr. III

• Passed 10th with valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency restricted to open cast Metalliferous Mines issued by DGMS.
• Valid First Aid Certificate will be preferable.

3. Jr. Foreman (Mines)

• Diploma in Mining / Mining Engineering with valid Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency restricted to open cast Metalliferous Mines issued by DGMS.

4. Jr. Foreman (Electrical)

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, full-time regular course from a recognized University / Institute.
• Valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency / MV / HT / EHT issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Odisha covering mining installations.

5. SUPT/JOT – Operator

CBT Details

SUPT/JOT Training Stipend

Selected candidates for SUPT/JOT posts will undergo:

1.      SUPT for 12 months

2.      JOT for 18 months

During training:

• First 12 months: ₹12,000 per month
• Remaining 18 months: ₹15,000 per month

After successful completion of training, they will be placed in T0 Grade with pay scale of ₹29,500 – 3% – ₹70,000.

General Instructions

1.      Candidates must ensure they fulfill eligibility criteria and other conditions before applying.

7.      Candidates working in PSU / Government organization should apply through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of document verification.

8.      Candidates will not be permitted to appear for CBT if original valid photo ID is not produced.

9.      Candidates provisionally selected must produce original and self-attested documents at document verification.

10. Candidates not meeting advertised specifications will not be allowed for further selection.

12. NALCO reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards.

Reservation Instructions

1.      Reservations / relaxations for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / EWS / PwBD will be as per Government guidelines.

2.      OBC-NCL candidates must submit certificate in prescribed format.

3.      OBC-NCL certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2026.

4.      OBC Creamy Layer candidates must apply as General category.

5.      EWS candidates must submit Income and Asset Certificate issued by competent authority.

6.      EWS certificate should be valid for financial year 2025-26.

7.      SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / EWS category once filled cannot be changed later.

8.      PwBD candidates with more than 40% permanent disability are eligible against PwBD reserved posts.

PwBD / Scribe Instructions

1.      PwBD candidates with benchmark disability of 40% or above are eligible for reservation.

2.      Scribe facility may be allowed for eligible PwBD candidates.

3.      Candidate must arrange own scribe at own cost.

4.      Scribe must not be a candidate for the same examination.

5.      One scribe cannot assist more than one candidate.

6.      Candidate and scribe must give undertaking at the time of CBT.

7.      Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour will be allowed for eligible PwBD candidates.

8.      If the scribe independently answers questions, candidature may be cancelled.

Medical Fitness

1.      Final placement of selected candidates is subject to medical fitness.

2.      Medical fitness will be assessed by Company’s Medical Officer / Board.

3.      Decision of Medical Board will be final and binding.

4.      For PwBD candidates, appointment will depend on duties and responsibilities of the post, nature of disability and medical opinion.

Disqualification / Misconduct

Candidate may be disqualified, debarred, prosecuted or removed from service if found guilty of:

1.      Obtaining support by unfair means

2.      Offering illegal gratification

3.      Applying pressure

4.      Blackmailing or threatening any person connected with examination

5.      Impersonation

6.      Submitting fabricated or tampered documents

7.      Uploading irrelevant or incorrect photo / signature

8.      Making false or incorrect statements

9.      Suppressing material information

10. Resorting to irregular or improper means

11. Obtaining question paper through improper means

12. Finding particulars of persons connected with secret work of examination

13. Writing obscene matter or drawing obscene sketches

14. Misbehaving in examination hall

15. Harassing or harming NALCO staff

16. Bringing mobile phone or electronic gadgets in examination hall

17. Violating admission certificate instructions

18. Attempting to commit or abet any act specified in the advertisement

19. Being debarred by NALCO from examination

20. Being dismissed by NALCO from service earlier

21. Being disqualified by NALCO from examination or selection
