Educational Qualification

Candidate must have any one of the following:

• Diploma in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS or recognized university
  OR
• Participation in Olympics/Paralympics/Asian Games/World Championship + Certificate Course in Coaching
  OR
• Dronacharya Awardee

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Cut-off: As on opening date of application

Age Relaxation

Standard Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. rules
• Govt. Employees: Up to 5 Years
• SC/ST Govt. Employees: Up to 10 Years

Additional Relaxation:

• Contractual SAI Employees: Relaxation equal to service duration
• Cumulative relaxation allowed (with conditions)

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Two Stage Process:

1.      Computer Based Test (CBT)

2.      Coaching Ability Test (CAT)

Weightage:

• CBT: 40%
• CAT: 60%

CBT Details:

• Duration: 2 Hours
• Questions: 100 MCQs
• Negative Marking: 1/4th

Subjects:

• Sports Knowledge: 65 Marks
• Sports Science: 25 Marks
• General Awareness/Reasoning: 10 Marks

Shortlisting:

• Ratio 1:3 for CAT

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Pay Level: Level-6
• Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400
