• Range Forest Officer – Bachelor’s Degree in Science with specified subjects
• Platoon Commander – Higher Secondary
• Round Forester – Higher Secondary
• Police Constable/Armed – Secondary School Certificate
• Driver – SSC + Valid License + 2 years experience
• Greaser/Electrician – SSC + ITI + Experience
• Forest Guard – SSC
• Others – SSC

Age Limit (As per Post)

• 45 years (Range Forest Officer, Platoon Commander, Assistant Superintendent, Lascar, Escort)
• 35 years (Round Forester, Forest Guard)
• 30 years (Warden, Matron, Greaser, Electrician)
• 28 years (Police Constable & Armed Police)
• 25 years (Police Constable Driver)

Cut-off Date: As on last date of application.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST – 5 years
• OBC – 3 years
• PwD – 10 years
• PwD (SC/ST) – 15 years
• PwD (OBC) – 13 years
• Government Servants – Up to 5 years

SELECTION PROCESS / RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1.      Computer Based Test (CBT-I)

2.      Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying

3.      CBT-II (where applicable)

4.      Merit List based on CBT-II

• No negative marking
• Minimum qualifying marks:
• UR – 45%
• OBC – 40%
• SC/ST – 35%
• Minimum 4/10 in Konkani mandatory

• Range Forest Officer – Level 6
• Platoon Commander – Level 4
• Round Forester – Level 3
• Police Constable/Driver/Greaser/Electrician/Forest Guard/Assistant Superintendent – Level 2
• Warden/Matron/Lascar/Escort – Level 1

• Option once exercised in CBT-II is final.
• No change of post after recommendation.
• Cut-off date for eligibility: Last date of application.
• Exam date will be announced later.
