Educational Qualification

For Medical Assistant (10+2 Candidates)

Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent with:

Physics,Chemistry,Biology, English

Minimum Marks:

50% aggregate

50% in English

OR

• Two-year vocational course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
• Minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English

For Medical Assistant (Pharmacist)

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
• Minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English
• Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate
• Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) mandatory at enrolment

For 10+2 Candidates

·        Date of Birth Range: Born between 01 January 2006 to 01 January 2010 (inclusive)

·        Upper Age Limit at Enrolment: 21 Years

For Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy (Unmarried)

• Date of Birth Range:  Born between 01 January 2003 to 01 January 2008 (inclusive)

• Upper Age Limit at Enrolment: 24 Years

For Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy (Married)

• Date of Birth Range:

·         Born between 01 January 2003 to 01 January 2006 (inclusive)

SELECTION PROCESS / RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Selection will be conducted in three phases:

Phase – I (Online Test)

• Mode: Online (Objective Type)
• Duration: 45 Minutes
• Subjects:

·            English (10+2 Level)

·           Reasoning & General Awareness

Marking Scheme:

·           Correct Answer: +1 Mark

·            Wrong Answer: -0.25 Mark

·            Unattempted: 0 Mark

Phase – II

Includes:

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

PFT-I: 1.6 Km Run

• Up to 21 Years: Within 7 Minutes
• Above 21 Years (Pharmacy Candidates): Within 7 Minutes 30 Seconds

PFT-II Exercises

• 10 Push-ups – 1 Minute
• 10 Sit-ups – 1 Minute
• 20 Squats – 1 Minute

Adaptability Test – I

• Objective type written test
• Checks suitability for IAF working environment

Adaptability Test – II

• Assesses adaptability to military lifestyle

Phase – III (Medical Examination)

Includes:

• Blood Test
• Urine Test
• Biochemistry Test
• Chest X-ray
• ECG
• Other tests as required

Appeal Medical Board Fee: ₹40

PAY SCALE / SALARY DETAILS

During Training

• Stipend: ₹14,600 per month

After Training

• Training is mandatory and candidates cannot stay with family
