Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

1.      Must have passed Class 8th from a recognized board.

2.      Must possess at least 2 years of experience working as security personnel.

3.      Experience must be from a government or reputed organization at district/state level.

4.      Preference will be given to retired military or paramilitary personnel.

5.      Knowledge of the local language/dialect is necessary.

Age Limit

Important: The age must not be below 21 years or above 35 years as of 01 January 2026. After combining all applicable government relaxations, the maximum age cannot exceed 45 years.

Age Relaxation

• Relaxation will be provided according to the instructions issued by the Chhattisgarh State Government from time to time.
• The combined age relaxation cannot exceed the maximum age limit of 45 years.

Domicile Requirement

• Candidates must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh.
• Only a residence certificate issued by a competent authority will be accepted.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be conducted through a merit-based evaluation and walk-in interview.

Merit Calculation

Detailed Marks Distribution

1. Educational Qualification – 60 Marks

• Marks will be calculated based on the percentage obtained in the prescribed minimum educational qualification.
• Weightage will be given out of 100, with a maximum of 60 marks.

2. Additional Experience – 10 Marks

• After completing the minimum required experience, 2 marks will be awarded for each additional year.
• Maximum marks: 10.

3. Relevant Experience – 10 Marks

• Candidates having work experience in the State Women's Helpline or Sakhi One Stop Centre will receive 2 bonus marks for each year.
• Maximum marks: 10.

4. Walk-in Interview – 20 Marks

• Maximum interview marks: 20.
• Knowledge of the local language/dialect is necessary.
• Local language knowledge will also be considered during the interview.

Shortlisting and Final Selection

1.      A total of 80 marks will be calculated based on education and experience.

2.      Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:10 ratio for each post for the walk-in interview.

3.      The final merit list will be prepared after the interview.

4.      The selection committee will recommend the candidates to the District Collector.

5.      The District Collector will issue the appointment order.

6.      If two candidates obtain equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Additional conditions:

• Only the consolidated service fee will be payable.
• No additional salary, allowances or ex-gratia grants will be payable.
• Maternity leave facility will be available.
• In special circumstances, if candidates are sent for official travel or training, travel allowance may be payable after appropriate approval and according to applicable rules.
• If the Government of India increases the prescribed service fee in the future, payment will be revised accordingly.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

1.      Candidates must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh.

2.      Only female candidates are eligible to apply.

3.      Age will be calculated as of 01 January 2026.

4.      Maximum age limit, including relaxation, is 45 years.

5.      Candidates must bring original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.

6.      Minimum educational qualification relaxation will not be provided.

7.      Applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

8.      Voluntary service experience certificates will not be accepted.

9.      Government/semi-government employees must submit an NOC.

10. Police background verification is compulsory before appointment.

11. Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate within one month.

12. Candidates must maintain confidentiality regarding victims, cases and official records.

13. Violation of confidentiality rules may result in termination.

14. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.

15. The appointment will initially be for a maximum period of 2 years.

16. The appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated according to the prescribed conditions.

17. Only the fixed monthly service fee of ₹11,360 will be payable.

18. The District Collector's decision regarding selection will be final.
