The recruitment is for Psychosocial Counsellor and Case Worker posts on a consolidated monthly service fee basis. There are 4 posts in total, including 2 Psychosocial Counsellors and 2 Case Workers. Educational Qualification


A. Psychosocial Counsellor

Number of Posts: 2

Any woman having a professional degree/diploma in Psychology/Psychiatry/Neuroscience with a background in the health sector.


Experience

Preferably at least 3 years' experience of working within a Government or Non-Government health project/programme at the district level.


Duties / Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological counselling and guidance to women affected by violence.
  • Support referral services according to the needs of affected women.
  • Help women cope with trauma and stress.
  • Draft the case history of women affected by violence.
  • Perform other work assigned by the Centre Administrator.

B. Case Worker

Number of Posts: 2

Any woman having a Bachelor's degree in:

  • Law
  • Social Work
  • Sociology
  • Social Science
  • Psychology

Experience

At least 3 years' experience of working on women-related relevant domains in a Government or Non-Government Project/Programme.


Other Requirement

The candidate should be a resident of the local community so that local human resources and expertise can be utilized for effective functioning of the centre.


Duties / Responsibilities

  • Work in shifts to provide 24-hour service at the One Stop Centre.
  • Assist and support the Centre Administrator in facilitating services to women accessing the OSC.
  • Intervene in cases of violence against women and take them to their logical conclusion.
  • Perform other work assigned by the Centre Administrator.

Qualification Note

Educational qualifications will be accepted only when obtained from a recognized institution/university.


Age Limit

As on 01 January 2026:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years
  • After applicable relaxations prescribed by the State Government, the maximum age shall not exceed 45 years.

Age will be verified using:

  • Birth Certificate, or
  • 10th Class Marksheet containing date of birth.

Original and self-attested copies are required for document verification.


Age Relaxation

The advertisement states that the age relaxations issued by the Chhattisgarh Government, General Administration Department from time to time will be applicable.

After applying all applicable relaxations, the maximum age limit will not exceed 45 years.

Merit Calculation


Educational Qualification – Maximum 60 Marks

100 marks are assigned to the percentage obtained in the required minimum educational qualification, with a maximum weightage of 60 marks.


Additional Experience – Maximum 10 Marks

After the minimum required experience, 2 marks for each additional year of experience, maximum 10 marks.


Relevant Experience Bonus – Maximum 10 Marks

Candidates having work experience in the State Women's Helpline or Sakhi One Stop Centre field will receive 2 bonus marks per year, up to a maximum of 10 marks.


Merit Before Interview/Skill Test

Maximum:

60 + 10 + 10 = 80 Marks


Walk-in Interview / Skill Test

20 Marks

Therefore, the selection process considers a total of 100 marks.

Knowledge of the local language/dialect is required and may also be considered during the walk-in interview.


Tie-Breaking Rule

If candidates obtain equal marks in the merit list, preference will be given based on higher age/seniority in age.


Interview Shortlisting

Candidates will be invited for Walk-in Interview/Skill Test from the merit list prepared on the basis of the 80-mark evaluation.


Pay Scale / Salary Details

The recruitment is on a consolidated monthly service fee basis.

Experience Certificate Requirements

Experience claimed by the candidate must be supported by a full-time experience certificate issued by the concerned institution/employer and certified/verified by the competent authority.

The validity of the experience certificate may be verified.

Experience claimed by the candidate will ultimately be subject to the decision of the District-level Selection Committee.

Voluntary service certificates will not be accepted as experience.

1. Women Candidates Only

2. Chhattisgarh Domicile

3. Medical Examination

After selection, the candidate must undergo a health examination within one month and submit a fitness certificate. If found medically unfit, the service may be terminated.

Because Sakhi One Stop Centre work is highly sensitive, police background verification is mandatory after appointment. The relevant certificate must be submitted at the time of joining.


5. Non-Conviction Certificate

6. Confidentiality

7. Marriage-related Condition

A candidate who married before attaining the prescribed minimum marriage age will not be eligible. In case of selection, the required affidavit on ₹50 stamp paper must be submitted.


8. Multiple Posts

A separate application must be submitted for each post.

10. No Travel Allowance
