Educational Qualification

Yoga/Sports Teacher

Candidate must have:

A Bachelor's Degree in Yoga/Sports Education or an equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution.

Music Teacher

 Candidate must have:

A Bachelor's Degree in Music or an equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection is based on a 100-mark merit system consisting of educational qualifications, experience and interview/skill assessment.

Marks Distribution

Experience Marks

For experience as a Yoga/Sports Teacher or Music Instructor in a recognized educational institution:

• Minimum experience considered: 1 year
• Maximum experience considered: 10 years
• 1 mark for each year of experience
• Maximum experience marks: 10

Merit Preparation

For Yoga/Sports Teacher and Music Teacher selection:

• 20% weightage from Class 10th marks
• 20% weightage from Class 12th marks
• 30% weightage from Bachelor's Degree/Diploma marks
• Experience marks up to 10
• 20% marks for interview/skill test

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks.

Other Selection Conditions

• Only qualifications from recognized educational institutions will be considered.
• Experience marks will be awarded only for experience as a Yoga/Sports Teacher or Music Instructor.
• School allotment for training work will be made in PM SHRI schools on the basis of merit.
• The decision of the District Level Committee will be final and universally applicable.

Walk-in Interview Venue

SAGES Kanya Sada, T.P. Nagar, Korba, Chhattisgarh

The venue is specified for the walk-in interview on 17 August 2026.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Maximum consolidated honorarium: ₹10,000 per month
• The honorarium is payable according to the annual work plan and approved budget.
• The notification describes the engagement as a temporary arrangement.

The specific school allotment will be made according to merit.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

1.      Candidates must be present at the specified date and time.

2.      Candidates arriving after the prescribed time will not be included in the interview.

3.      The appointment/engagement will be purely temporary.

4.      The engagement will be valid for a maximum period up to 31 March 2027.

5.      This engagement will not create any claim for regular/permanent appointment.

6.      The decision of the District Level Committee will be final and binding.

7.      Candidates who do not appear during the prescribed registration time will not be included in the interview.

8.      During document verification, if any document is found to be false, disciplinary/punitive action will be taken according to the rules.

9.      Only qualifications obtained from recognized educational institutions will be considered.

10. Experience marks will be calculated at 1 mark per year, up to a maximum of 10 marks.

11. School allotment for training work will be made on the basis of merit.

12. The maximum consolidated honorarium is ₹10,000 per month, subject to the approved annual work plan and budget.

13. The maximum period for which the training work may be continued is 31 March 2027; after completion of the fixed period, the service will automatically be treated as terminated.

14. After receiving information about selection/placement, the selected person must join duty within the prescribed period. Otherwise, the next candidate in the merit list may be given priority.

15. In such a case, separate formal information may not be provided to the applicant.
