Education Qualification

Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (Hindi)

Candidates must fulfill the following:

1.      Passed Higher Secondary/12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, either under the High School system or old system.

2.      Passed the relevant trade qualification from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / National Skill Training Council or equivalent recognized qualification, as prescribed in the notification.

3.      Passed Hindi Shorthand examination from a recognized Board/Institution/Shorthand & Typing Examination Council.

4.      Shorthand speed:

o    100 words per minute is prescribed.

o    Candidates having 100 words/minute will receive priority.

o    If candidates with 100 words/minute are not available, candidates with 80 words/minute may be considered.

5.      One-year Data Entry Operator/Programming diploma/certificate from a recognized Board/Institution and data-entry speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour.

6.      Candidates should have passed from higher training institutions such as ITI/CTI/SCVT/NCVT/NBTI/RBTI/AICTE etc., as specified in the notification.

Welder

Candidates must fulfill the following:

1.      Passed Higher Secondary/12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, either under the High School system or old system.

2.      Passed the relevant trade qualification in Mechanical/Production & Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent discipline, as specified through NCVT/National Education & Training Council/State Vocational Training Council or recognized University/Board.

3.      Candidates should have passed from higher training institutions such as ITI/CTI/SCVT/NCVT/NBTI/RBTI/AICTE etc., as mentioned in the notification.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Age Cut-off Date: 01 January 2026
• The applicant must not be below 18 years as on 01/01/2026.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

For Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (Hindi)

Selection/merit will be prepared on the basis of:

1.      Percentage of marks obtained in the minimum prescribed qualification for the concerned trade.

2.      Preference will be given to candidates who have passed ATC/CTI/SCVT.

3.      Candidates having 100 words/minute Hindi shorthand will be given priority.

4.      If 100 words/minute candidates are unavailable, 80 words/minute candidates may be considered.

5.      A skill test will be conducted for Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (Hindi).

For Technical Trade — Welder

1.      Merit list will be prepared according to the marks obtained in the prescribed technical qualification.

2.      For posts where AITT/CTI/SCVT qualification is required, merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in the relevant one-year AITT/CTI examination.

3.      If an AITT/CTI/SCVT certificate holder is not available, the merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the prescribed technical qualification.

4.      Experience is not required for the technical post.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

The Guest Lecturer will receive:

• ₹140 per working day
• Maximum 05 hours per working day
• Maximum monthly honorarium: ₹15,000/-
• The rate may be changed from time to time according to the rate issued by the Government.
• No payment other than the prescribed honorarium will be made.
• Honorarium will be paid only when budget is available under the government-prescribed provision.

7.      Attach a ₹50/- Postal Order in favour of the prescribed authority.

8.      Sign the application and affidavit/declaration.

9.      Send the completed application only through Speed Post/Registered Post.

The notification/form requires the following documents, as applicable:

1.      Recent passport-size colour photograph.

2.      Educational qualification marksheets/certificates.

3.      10th marksheet or old-system 11th marksheet, as applicable.

4.      Technical qualification certificate/marksheet.

5.      ITI/CTI/SCVT/NCVT/NBTI/RBTI/AICTE qualification documents, where applicable.

6.      Stenography qualification certificate/marksheet for the Stenographer post.

7.      Hindi shorthand/typing qualification details, where applicable.

8.      Data Entry Operator qualification certificate/diploma, where applicable.

9.      Domicile/Residence Certificate of Chhattisgarh.

10. Other qualification certificates on the basis of which the application is being submitted.

11. Self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.

12. ₹50/- Postal Order.

13. Signed affidavit/shapath-patra on plain paper.

14. The application form itself must bear the applicant's signature.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

1.      Guest Lecturer will be invited only after approval/availability of the sanctioned post.

2.      If the sanctioned post is abolished by the Government, the invitation will automatically be treated as cancelled.

3.      Preference will be given to CITS/CTI-qualified applicants.

4.      The applicant must clearly mention the trade/subject for which the relevant CITS/CTI qualification was obtained.

5.      Advertisement number and date must be written on the envelope.

6.      If a regular/transferred/contract Training Officer for the concerned trade/subject is appointed by the Government in the institute, the Guest Lecturer invitation will automatically end.

7.      Applicants must read all rules and instructions carefully before applying.

8.      Incomplete, unclear or defective applications will be rejected and no separate information will be given.

9.      The applicant must be a native resident of Chhattisgarh.

10. Reservation rules will not apply.

11. There will be no entitlement to leave under this engagement.

12. No claim of any kind for government service will be valid.

13. Applications must include a recent colour photograph and self-attested copies of required certificates.

14. Affidavit must be submitted on plain paper.

15. Applications without self-attested copies may be rejected.

16. Applications without the applicant's signature on the application form and affidavit will not be accepted.

17. If any criminal or civil case is pending against an applicant, complete information must be provided with the application.

18. If such information is received after appointment, the person may be removed from the training work immediately.

19. More than one trade/subject or more than one institute cannot be mentioned on one application.

20. Applicants who have only passed the State Vocational Examination will not have their applications accepted.

21. Age must be at least 18 years as on 01/01/2026.

22. Applications must reach the office in the prescribed format by 24/08/2026, 05:00 PM, through Speed Post/Registered Post.

23. Applications sent to another institution will not be accepted.

24. Merit will be the basis for inviting Guest Lecturers.

25. The merit list will be displayed on the institute notice board after approval of the Joint Director (Training), Regional Office, ITI institutions, Ambikapur, Region Surguja.

26. Information regarding invitation may be communicated through telephone or other means.

27. The applicant will be responsible for any failure to contact them on the mobile number provided in the application.

28. The main list candidate will be given an opportunity to report for duty for 10 days from the date of display of the main list. Thereafter, candidates in the waiting list will be considered sequentially.

29. After being invited, a notarized affidavit must be submitted before joining training work.

30. A Guest Lecturer may be invited according to requirement or for a maximum of one training session.

31. If the training work is not satisfactory, the institution head may provide an opportunity to explain and may decide whether to continue or discontinue the Guest Lecturer.

32. Honorarium is subject to the government-prescribed budget provision.

33. If the same applicant is invited for more than one institute/trade/subject, joining one institute will automatically cancel the invitation for the others.

34. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Joint Director (Training), Regional Office Ambikapur, Region Surguja, Chhattisgarh will be final and binding.
