Educational Qualification

• Only Female candidates are eligible.
• Minimum educational qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent.
• Selection will be based on merit prepared from Intermediate and higher educational qualifications.

Residence Requirement

Candidate must be a permanent resident of the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward where the vacancy exists.

Age Limit

Cut-off Date: 01 July 2026

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

• Selection will be based on Merit.
• Merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Intermediate and higher educational qualifications.
• Preference will be given in the following order:

1.      Widow BPL candidate of same Gram Sabha/Ward.

2.      Divorced/Abandoned BPL candidate of same Gram Sabha/Ward.

3.      BPL candidate of same Gram Sabha/Ward.

4.      Widow APL candidate of same Gram Sabha/Ward.

5.      Divorced/Abandoned APL candidate of same Gram Sabha/Ward.

6.      APL candidate of same Gram Sabha/Ward.

Additional Notes:

• Widow certificate and family register copy are required.
• Divorce/abandonment must be supported by a competent court order.

• Members of the same family cannot simultaneously be selected as Anganwadi Worker and Helper in the same Anganwadi Centre.
