Educational Qualification

Candidate must possess:

• Basic Degree in Agriculture
• Post Graduation M.Sc. (Agriculture) in any one of:
• Seed Technology
• Plant Breeding
• Agronomy
• Plant Physiology
• Degree must be from a University recognized by ICAR.

Additional Conditions:

• Qualification must be possessed on 02 July 2026.
• Distance Education degrees must be recognized by the competent statutory authority (UGC/AICTE/Distance Education Bureau).

Age Limit (Cut-off Date: 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 44 Years

Date of Birth Limits:

• Should not be born after: 01 July 2008
• Should not be born before: 02 July 1982

Selection Process

Selection will be through:

1.      Objective Type Written Examination

2.      Examination may be conducted through:

o    CBRT

o    OMR Based Test

3.      Merit List

4.      Document Verification

5.      Medical Examination

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• OC/EWS/Sports: 40%
• BC: 35%
• SC/ST/PH: 30%
