Educational Qualification

Candidate must have:

• Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
• 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/BC/EBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates of Bihar.
• 5% relaxation for PwD candidates of Bihar (only one relaxation benefit applicable).
• Additionally, candidate must possess any one of the following:
• UGC/CSIR NET
• SLET/SET
• Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations
• Foreign University Ph.D. (Top 500 Ranked University) as prescribed.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 43 Years

Cut-off Date: 01 August 2026.

Age Relaxation

• Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per Government of Bihar Rules.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be based on 100 Marks:

Academic Qualification – 88 Marks

Includes marks for:

• Ph.D.
• NET
• JRF
• Research
• Post Graduation
• Graduation
• Intermediate (10+2)
• Matric (10th)

Interview-cum-Teaching Demonstration – 12 Marks

• 6 Marks – Teaching Skill Demonstration
• 6 Marks – Interview

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in 1:3 ratio.

Merit list will be prepared on:

1.      Academic Score

2.      Interview

3.      Higher Academic Marks

4.      Higher Age

5.      Alphabetical order in Devanagari (if required).

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Monthly remuneration will be equal to the minimum monthly gross salary (Basic + DA) payable to a regular Assistant Professor at the entry level.
