 Educational Qualification

For Level-2 (GP ₹1900)

Candidates must possess:

1.      12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

2.      The 50% marks condition is not applicable for:

o    SC/ST candidates

o    Ex-Servicemen

o    Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Graduation/Post Graduation.

3.      Typing proficiency:

o    30 words per minute in English, OR

o    25 words per minute in Hindi.

4.      For Junior Clerk-cum-Typist/Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist vacancies.

5.      OR Passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with ITI certificate approved by NCVT/SCVT for Technical Category posts. (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification).

For Level-1 (GP ₹1800)

Candidates must possess:

• 10th Pass, OR
• ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT, OR
• Equivalent qualification, OR
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

B. Scout & Guide Qualification

Candidate must possess:

(a)

• President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger Certificate

OR

• Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.

(b)

• Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years (i.e., from 01-04-2019 onwards).
• Certificate of Activeness should be submitted as per Annexure-C in original.

(c)

• Should have attended:
• Two events at National Level OR
• All Indian Railway level event
• AND two events at State Level.

(d)

• Should possess an experience note showing participation during:
• 2019-20
• 2022-23
• 2023-24
• 2024-25
• 2025-26
• Must continue to be active up to the closing date.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

• Selection for Group 'C' (Level-2 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) and Erstwhile Group 'D' (Level-1 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) will be conducted separately.
• Candidates may apply for both categories.
• Separate applications must be submitted for Level-2 and Level-1 posts.

3.      Separate selection will be conducted for Level-2 and Level-1 categories.

5.      Activeness in Scouts & Guides activities must continue up to the closing date.
