National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has invited online applications for 53 vacancies of Deputy Director (Medical), Junior Programmer, Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant. Online applications will be accepted from 29 June 2026 to 20 July 2026. Selection will be through written examination/computer-based test and skill test as applicable. The tentative examination dates are 05 and 06 September 2026. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online through the official NBEMS website. 1. Deputy Director (Medical)

Essential

  • Recognized Postgraduate Medical Qualification under Medical Council Act, 1956.

Desirable

  • Training in Medical Education Technology and knowledge of modern assessment techniques including MCQ/MEQ preparation and performance analysis.

Age Limit

  • Not more than 35 years.

2. Junior Programmer

  • B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / DOEACC (‘B’ or ‘C’ Level) / Degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with Computer specialization or equivalent.

Age Limit

  • Below 27 years.

3. Junior Accountant

Essential

  • Graduate Degree with Mathematics or Statistics OR Degree in Commerce from a recognized University.
  • Must qualify the examination prescribed by NBEMS.

Desirable

  • Three years’ experience in maintenance/handling of accounts with computer-based accounting knowledge.

Age Limit

  • Below 27 years.

 

4. Stenographer

Essential

  • Senior Secondary (10+2).

Other Qualifications

  • Stenography/Typing speed of 80/30 words per minute.
  • Must qualify English/Stenography and Computer Typing Test conducted by NBEMS.

Desirable

  • Two years’ experience as Stenographer in Government/PSU/Autonomous Body with word-processing skills.

Age Limit

  • 18–27 years.

5. Junior Assistant

Essential

  • Senior Secondary (12th Pass) from recognized Board/University.
  • Proficiency in use of computers and basic software packages including Windows, Network Operating System and LAN Architecture.
  • Must qualify the examination prescribed by NBEMS.
