Educational Qualification

PGT Qualification

• Integrated Post Graduate Course with minimum 50% marks including B.Ed component
  OR
• Master Degree with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed.
  OR
• Three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
  OR
• Four years integrated degree including B.Ed. component.

TGT Qualification

• Four years integrated degree with minimum 50% marks including B.Ed.
  OR
• Bachelor Degree with B.Ed. and minimum 50% marks.
• CTET Paper-II qualified.
• Competence to teach in English and Hindi.

Female Staff Nurse Qualification

• B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from recognized institution.
• Registered Nurse or Nurse Mid-Wife.
• 2.5 years experience in minimum 50 bedded hospital.

Skill Teacher Qualification

Different qualifications are prescribed for different skill courses such as MBBS, Engineering, BCA, PG Diploma, Yoga qualifications, Tourism qualifications, Nursing qualifications etc.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit for all category teachers: 50 years as on 01.07.2026
• For Ex-NVS/Superannuated Government teachers: 65 years as on 01.07.2026

Age Relaxation

• Ex-NVS/Superannuated Government teachers allowed up to 65 years.
