Essential Qualifications

Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

1. 10+2 with at least 50% marks and two-year Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) course / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from an institute affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.
2. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) as per NCTE recognition norms.
3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
5. Graduation with two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
6. Post Graduate with at least 55% marks and three-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed.
7. Candidates must have passed Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) conducted by HP Board of School Education.
8. Candidates must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions of the State.

Maximum Age: 45 years

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be done through:

1. Screening Test (Written Test)

Screening Test Details

• Total Marks: 120
• Duration: 2 hours
• Objective type multiple choice questions.

Subjects included in the test:

• Subject Knowledge relevant to the post
• General Knowledge including Himachal Pradesh
• Current Affairs
• Everyday Science
• Logic and reasoning

9. Fill application details.
10. Pay the application fee online.
11. Submit the application form.
12. After successful submission, the application will be considered complete.
