Educational Qualification

Fellow – General Administration

• Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Governance, Public Administration, Social Work, Development Studies, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or any other Social Science subject from a recognized university.
• Candidates from IITs, IIMs, TISS, Central Universities, or Institutes of Eminence will be preferred.
• Prior experience in governance, policy research, development sector, monitoring & evaluation, or administrative support preferred.

Fellow – App Developer & Web Programmer

• Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience (mandatory for bachelor’s degree holders) in dashboard development, MIS systems, web applications, mobile app development, database management, or e-governance platforms.

Intern – Web & App Development

• Pursuing or recently completed (within last two years) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

Intern – Public Relations (PR)

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, or related field.

Intern – Management

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or related discipline.

Intern – Public Policy

• Pursuing or recently completed Master’s Degree (or final year students) in Public Policy, Economics, Development Studies, or related discipline.

Intern – Governance

• Pursuing or recently completed Master’s Degree (or final year students) in Governance, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, or related Social Science discipline.

Age Limit

Maximum age: 35 years as on the date of application submission.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Fellows

Evaluation based on 100 marks system:

Interns

Selection will be conducted solely on the basis of interview.
The decision of the Selection Committee and District Administration will be final and binding.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Fellowship

• ₹45,000 per month (Consolidated stipend)

Internship

• ₹15,000 per month (Stipend)

Stipends will be paid through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) based on attendance and satisfactory progress reports.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Fellowship tenure initially 12 months, extendable up to 24 months based on performance.
• Performance will be reviewed every six months.
• Internships will be for 3 months, extendable up to 6 months based on performance.
• Fellows and interns will work under the direct mentorship of the District Collector.
• Accommodation support may be provided subject to availability.
• Interns may receive accommodation at district facilities but must manage food and personal expenses.
• Fellows using transit hostel/DPRC accommodation must pay ₹1,500 per month maintenance charge.
• Engagement under this programme does not constitute government employment.
• The District Administration may terminate the engagement at any time if performance is unsatisfactory.
• Selected candidates must maintain confidentiality and administrative discipline.
• Misconduct may lead to immediate termination.
