Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification

• Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS).
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (First Class as defined by the Institute/University).
• Candidate must have passed the MLIS examination in 2025 or 2026 only.

Desirable Qualification

• Basic knowledge of IT and IT applications related to libraries.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 25 Years
• Cut-off Date: 04-08-2026 (last date for submission of online application).

Age Relaxation

• Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will consist of:

1.      Written Test

2.      Personal Interaction

Selection Venue: IIT Hyderabad, Kandi, Sangareddy.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Consolidated Remuneration: ₹30,000 per month
• Salary is subject to statutory deductions.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• Only online applications are accepted.

• Appointment is purely contractual for one year and may be extended based on performance.
• Contract may be terminated with one month's notice from either side.
• Six-day working week with rotational shifts including Sundays and holidays.
• Candidates who have already completed Library Trainee training in any institution are not eligible.
• No TA/DA will be paid.
• Medical reimbursement is not admissible.
• Candidate must possess valid health insurance during the engagement period.
• Institute reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies or cancel the recruitment.
