Educational Qualification

Executive Branch

• GS(X)/Hydro: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60%.
• Pilot: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60%; minimum 60% aggregate in Class X & XII and 60% in English.
• Naval Air Operations Officer: Same as Pilot.
• Air Traffic Controller: Same as Pilot.
• Logistics:
• BE/B.Tech (First Class), OR
• MBA (First Class), OR
• B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc(IT) with First Class + PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain/Material Management, OR
• MCA/M.Sc(IT) First Class.
• NAIC:
• BE/B.Tech (60%) in notified engineering disciplines OR
• PG Degree in Electronics/Physics.
• Minimum 60% in Class X, XII and English.

Education Branch

• MSc/MA in notified subjects.
• MA (History) with 55%.
• BE/B.Tech in specified streams.
• ME/M.Tech in specified streams.
• Minimum 60% in Class X, XII and English.

Technical Branch

• BE/B.Tech (minimum 60%) in prescribed engineering disciplines for:
• Engineering Branch
• Electrical Branch
• Naval Constructor
• Submarine Tech entries follow Engineering/Electrical eligibility.

Age Limit (Born Between)

Age Relaxation

• Merchant Navy Personnel – Extended eligibility as specified.
• NCC 'C' Certificate holders receive 5% relaxation in SSB shortlisting cut-off marks (subject to conditions).
• No other age relaxation mentioned.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Rank on Joining: Sub Lieutenant
• Initial Gross Salary: Approximately ₹1,20,000 per month
• Pilot/NAOO/Submarine Allowance: ₹31,250 per month after successful completion of training.
• Other allowances applicable as per rules.
