Educational Qualification

For the Driver Cum Mechanic trade, candidates must possess:

1.      High School (10th) pass from a recognized Board or equivalent qualification.

2.      National Trade Certificate (NTC), National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), or State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.

3.      Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License.

4.      Engineering candidates possessing qualifications approved by AICTE such as B.E./B.Tech. are also eligible.

Age Limit

• Candidate must be at least 18 years old as on 01 January 2026.

01 January 2026

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be made strictly on a merit basis.

Selection Criteria

1.      Preference will be given to candidates possessing CITS/CTI qualification wherever required.

2.      If CITS/CTI qualified candidates are not available, selection will be based on marks obtained in technical qualifications such as ITI/Diploma/Degree.

3.      For trades requiring LMV License, submission of a valid license is mandatory.

4.      If a candidate possesses more than one technical qualification, the qualification with the highest marks will be considered for preparing the merit list.

5.      A merit list and waiting list will be prepared.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Honorarium: ₹140 per hour per working day
• Maximum Teaching Hours: 5 hours per day
• Maximum Monthly Honorarium: ₹15,000 per month

The honorarium is subject to revision as per Government orders issued from time to time.

Documents Required

Applicants must attach self-attested copies of:

1.      Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets.

2.      Technical qualification certificates.

3.      CTI/CITS certificate (if applicable).

4.      LMV Driving License.

5.      Residence/Domicile Certificate.

6.      Any other relevant qualification certificates.

7.      Passport-size photograph.

8.      Affidavit/Declaration in the prescribed format.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

1.      Incomplete, incorrect, or unclear applications will be rejected.

2.      Separate applications must be submitted for each institution/trade.

3.      Applicant must be a native resident of Chhattisgarh.

4.      No reservation rules will apply.

5.      Engagement is purely temporary and honorarium-based.

6.      Services will automatically terminate if a regular, contractual, or transferred employee is appointed against the post.

7.      Candidates selected for more than one institution/trade must choose only one assignment.

8.      Merit list will be displayed on the institute notice board.

9.      No claim for regular government employment will be entertained.

10. Any dispute shall be subject to the decision of the Joint Director, Training Regional Office, Jagdalpur.

11. Recruitment shall remain subject to the final decision in WPS No. 4836/2020 before the Hon’ble High Court of Chhattisgarh.
