Educational Qualification

Candidate must have completed any one of the following:

1.      A 3-Year Undergraduate Degree + 2-Year Postgraduate Degree, OR

2.      A 4-Year Undergraduate Programme, OR

3.      An Integrated Undergraduate + Postgraduate Programme from a recognized institution/university.

Preference

M.A. Education or M.Ed. (Full-time or blended executive mode).

Note: Candidates who have completed qualifications entirely through distance mode are not eligible.

Preferred Experience & Skills

Candidates having the following experience/skills will be preferred:

• Experience in International Schools or reputed NGOs working in education.
• Experience working in PMUs or as consultants with SCERTs, Samagra Shiksha, or Education Directorates.
• Experience in large-scale education transformation programmes.
• Deep understanding of pedagogy and school education.
• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be conducted by a District Level Empowered Committee through the following stages:

Stage 1

Shortlisting based on:

Stage 2

Online Interview (Only for shortlisted candidates)

Stage 3

Final Round at Dantewada:

• In-person interaction
• School Visit

Note: 3rd AC travel reimbursement will be provided for the final round.

Role & Responsibilities

The School Academic Consultant will:

• Support the Principal in academic planning and school improvement.
• Design and strengthen teaching-learning strategies.
• Conduct teacher mentoring, classroom observations, and capacity-building workshops.
• Support innovative pedagogy and activity-based learning.
• Develop assessment systems, remedial learning, and student tracking.
• Strengthen reading culture, experiential learning, and holistic education.
• Improve classroom engagement and child-centered learning.
• Promote 21st-century skills, critical thinking, creativity, and communication.
• Assist in curriculum planning and academic monitoring.
• Coordinate with district administration and the education department.
