Educational Qualification

Assistant Research Scholar

Candidate must possess:

• Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Law with NET/JRF

OR

• LL.M. with consistently good academic record

Experience

• Minimum 02 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution.
• Experience in Judicial Training Academy is desirable.
• Research papers/publications are desirable.

Senior Faculty Member

• Retired Judicial Officers from Superior Judicial Service with teaching experience.

Experience

• Teaching experience required.
• Experience in Judicial Training Academy desirable.
• Research publications desirable.

Age Limit

Assistant Research Scholar

Candidate must have at least 3 years remaining before attaining 60 years of age as on the last date of application and must be medically fit.

Senior Faculty Member

Candidate must have at least 3 years remaining before attaining 70 years of age as on the last date of application and must be medically fit.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Assistant Research Scholar

Selection will consist of:

1.      Shortlisting based on evaluation of research papers/publications and/or credentials.

2.      Interaction/Interview.

3.      Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Senior Faculty Member

Selection will consist of:

1.      Shortlisting based on evaluation of 10 submitted judgments and credentials.

2.      Interaction/Interview.

3.      Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Assistant Research Scholar

• ₹27,700 – ₹44,700
• Equivalent to ₹77,840 – ₹1,36,520
• Plus DA as per relevant rules
• No other allowances or accommodation shall be paid/provided.

Senior Faculty Member

• ₹51,550 – ₹63,070
• Equivalent to ₹1,44,840 – ₹1,94,660
• Plus DA as per relevant rules
• No other allowances or accommodation shall be paid/provided.

Tenure

Both posts:

• Initial tenure: 03 years
• Extendable on satisfactory performance

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Fill the application form in BLOCK LETTERS.
• Attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents.
• Attach self-attested three passport size photographs with blue background.
• Incomplete applications shall be rejected.
• Late applications are liable to rejection.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible.
