Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB)
• From a Board recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks
• Minimum 40% marks in each subject

Candidates appearing in the 12th Board Examination 2025-26 are also eligible, provided they produce the original marksheet during later stages of recruitment.

Age Limit

Candidate should be born between:

01 May 2005 – 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)

• Computer-based test
• 100 questions (1 mark each)
• Duration: 1 hour
• Objective type (MCQ)
• Question paper bilingual (Hindi & English)
• Sections:
• English
• Science
• Biology
• General Awareness
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

Candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-II based on INET marks.

Stage II

Candidates shortlisted in Stage I will undergo:

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

2. Stage II Written Examination

• 100 questions
• 1 mark each
• 10+2 standard
• Subjects: English, Science, Biology, General Awareness
• Duration: 1 hour.

3. Recruitment Medical Examination

Candidates qualifying PFT and written exam will undergo a medical examination by authorized military doctors.

4. Merit List

• Prepared based on Stage II written exam performance
• Subject to qualifying PFT and medical examination
• Merit prepared state-wise.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

During Training:

• ₹14,600 per month stipend

After Training:

• Level 3 Pay Matrix: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100

Additional Benefits:

• Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹5200 per month
• Dearness Allowance (DA) as applicable.

Promotion possible up to:
Master Chief Petty Officer-I (Level 8: ₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100 + MSP).

2.      Register on the candidate portal.

3.      Fill the online application form for SSR (MED) 02/2027 Batch.

4.      Upload required documents and photograph.

5.      Pay the examination fee online.

6.      Submit the application form before the deadline.

7.      Download the admit card from the portal before the examination.

Applications must be submitted online only between 14 March 2026 and 06 April 2026.
