ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Psycho-Social Counsellor

Educational Qualification:

• Professional Degree in Psychology / Psychiatry / Neurosciences
  OR
• Background in health sector
  Preferably with Science / Psychology and at least 3 years experience in Government or Non-Government health project / programme at district level.

Experience:

• At least 3 years experience in relevant field.

Para Legal Personnel / Lawyer

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Law with legal training or knowledge of laws
  AND
• At least 3 years experience in Government or Non-Government women related project/programme at district level
  OR
• Practicing Lawyer with at least 2 years experience of litigation in any court of law.

AGE LIMIT

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Cut-off Date: 01 January 2026
• Maximum age including relaxation: 45 Years

AGE RELAXATION (Category-wise)

• As per State Government rules.
• Total age after relaxation shall not exceed 45 years.

SELECTION PROCESS / RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Selection Process includes:

1.     Scrutiny of applications

2.     Interview

3.     Merit preparation based on:

o    100 marks weightage for minimum educational qualification (maximum 60 marks counted)

o    02 marks per additional year of experience (maximum 10 marks)

o    02 bonus marks per year for experience in Women Helpline/Sakhi One Stop Center (maximum 10 marks)

o    Interview: 20 marks

Final merit prepared out of 80 marks + Interview.

Tie-breaking: Higher educational qualification marks preferred.

PAY SCALE / SALARY DETAILS

1.     Psycho-Social Counsellor: ₹25,780/- per month

2.     Para Legal Personnel/Lawyer: ₹10,420/- per month

Additional allowances: Not Mentioned in PDF.

4.     Submit application at Women & Child Development Office, Narayanpur.

• Appointment will be contractual for 1 year (extendable).
• Selected candidate must reside within 5 km radius of center.
• Sakhi One Stop Center is 24-hour emergency service.
• No TA/DA will be paid for interview.
• Incomplete/incorrect applications will not be considered.
• Separate application required for each post.
• Decision of District Collector, Narayanpur will be final.
• Selected candidate must submit medical fitness certificate within 1 month.
• Police verification mandatory before appointment.
• Confidentiality must be maintained.
• Early marriage below legal age disqualifies candidate.
• Candidate married to person having living spouse not eligible (unless exempted).
